Self Portrait In Progress
If you don't know what I look like then you won't know how accurate it is, but I think it's getting there.

Spent far too long on the eye, but I think it's a good thing I'm attempting it now. The eyes often make or break a painting, if you fudge them up, you can't really ignore them. So it's a bad thing to leave them till last - if you do there's too much pressure to get them right.
I've also fudged up some other parts that were going really well by doing the eyes, because of resting my hands on the canvas. The left nostril (from the viewer's pov) was great, but now it's smudged.
Lots to do, but it's time for a break. I'm starting to 'remember' my talents though, like with this painting the dormant art skills just woke up.
The eyetoy photo doesn't really do it justice, but my hands are too dirty to use a real camera.
